There will be 8-person heats each 6 minutes. All participants are allowed to use only traditional twin-tip kiteboards and tube kites. The event will be quite intense with a fast and furious downwind slalom race format. With challenging winds forecast, let's see what happened on Day Two…
After the skippers meeting at 10:00, all the participants were waiting for the wind to pick up. In the afternoon the wind got stronger and the riders were more than ready to hit the water and race. However, the course needed to be adjusted as the wind direction changed. Finally, the race couldn’t start due to unstable wind conditions.
The event atmosphere is quite tense. All the riders and their coaches are waiting to hit the water and compete for those few places that will allow them to go to Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.
