So with the inevitable ‘cancelation' on traveling this season it was clear to Tom Court that he needed to explore his local area's a lot more. Luckily for him, Aaron Hadlow and Lewis Crathern there is an abundance of coastline in the UK that is prime for some kiteboard shreddery.
At the end of last year, just before lockdown started we managed to squeeze in a last minute road trip through the UK chasing a storm down the coast to wards Cornwall. Liking up with Aaron Hadlow and Lewis Crathern, and taking the new Duotone Rebel, we made a plan to hit some of the UK biggest landmarks and best coastal locations kite kiteboard and sent it in the vans.
Sleeping in our vans and following the wind, we scored some epic sessions, big air, freestyle, freeride and generally just found the most fun that we could as we explored. Kiting with Cruise ships as they lay dormant during the Covid outbreak, thinking about threading Durdle Door and ending up in Cornwall for one of the strongest storms of the season for some perfect boosting kickers!!
