We spend half of the year on snow here in Québec, Canada and I think that's why it's so important for us to show you what snowkiting is all about.
Unfortunately this year we didn't have so much snow and the conditions were more difficult for freestyle – the landing was hard and the take off too, but it didn't stop us from having fun.
Snowkiting is another aspect of the sport… you can easily ride in lightwind because you don't have to float like you do on the water, just slip on the snow. Though it's always more difficult to do tricks on the snow because you don't have the water's pop.
I'm currently working on a new video project together withy my little brother, Éric Blanchard, and we hope to make something big and different to show how we can push the Snowkite limits! I'll let you know when it's ready…
