After highly successful events on Hayling Island and out in Tarifa, the team behind the Kitesurfing Armada have announced a new host location…
Partnering up with HQ Africa and the Founders Kite Club, the Armada will now be heading to Cape Town in February 2016, to coincide with other events in the region, such as the high profile ‘Red Bull King of the Air' contest. Further details are to be announced next January.
The Kitesurf Armada at Hayling Island
“It will be an amazing experience to run a Kitesurfing Armada in Cape Town. The place is the epicentre of kiting at that time, and the chance to get hundreds of kitesurfers all riding together to get the Guinness World Record, with Table Mountain as a backdrop, is an amazing opportunity. With the partners we have in Cape Town I’m sure we can deliver an awesome event…” says Dan Charlish, Director of the Kitesurfing Armada.
As ever, charity donations factor highly, and much will be raised to benefit local charities.
