The IKA put a great finish on with the last event of the year from, and this is a mouthful, Qanat Quartier Beach “The Pearl” Qatar. The series wrapped up with a really close match race between up and coming 18 year old sensation Britain's Olly Bridge, and Monaco's more experienced Maxime Nocher and in the end Nocher sealed up the comp and the year. On the women's side 18 year old Kalinina continued to dominate. We enjoyed watching the highlight videos with professional broadcast quality from the media team for the IKA. But first the standings after 3 days and 15 races:

” With three successive Formula Kite world titles, the latest secured in China in September, the addition of the second successive KiteFoil GoldCup crown now makes it an incredible ten kiteboarding world championships to his name. Nocher’s jubilation was evident when he punched the air as he crossed the line second in the day’s penultimate race.”
