Just packing up all our stuff and cleaning up the houses here in Indonesia before I head back to Fuerteventura for the winter. It feels hard to leave this year, because it has been one of the best seasons I can remember, swell after swell, good winds and great people.
Some of our campers this year had more or less no experience with wave riding before they came over, so it was pretty cool to see how much they had improved in only 1 or 2 weeks in these perfect conditions. The mornings were glassy for surfing, and we had many sessions this year with only us in the water, and that makes a big difference..
After 6 months here, I guess it is time to get back to “real life” for a bit, surf some other waves, fish some other fishes and eat some cheese again. I guess Fuerteventura is not a bad place to be either..
